Quaint and fairly clean place, everything was good. Easy location and overall the staff was accommodating. There were exceptionally comfortable beds and a work desk, coffee/tea making equipment and multi-channel TV inside the room.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Excellent bathroom.
Person at reception was surly and uncivil. Worst reception ever at a Booked.net hotel

perfect spot for exploring nature and local attractions
I had the most fantastic time here, as it's just over a kilometer to both the fine Devil's Punch Bowl and Gibbet Hill with amazing views during my walks in the area. Always ready to help.

The room was excellent, very spacious and clean as was the bathroom. The breakfasts are generous and very good.
It would have been good to have a wider ranging dinner menu.

The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. The shower above the bath was lovely.
The room (we booked a four poster bed as a romantic night away) had a strange musty smell about it, the windows in the bathroom had all meldew over them and the spa bath didn't work. The room itself was tried looking and in need of redecorating. The food was ok but nothing special, my partner wanted the rib eyed steak but that was off the menu the night we stayed so we settled for the steak and ale pie which was suppose to be special but it was not.

We were looking for good value and found it without sacrificing quality. The hotel was fine for an overnight stay and the room was good. We had a half-board package and the evening meal choices were good given the low cost of the package. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Without the traffic which now uses the tunnel at Hindhead, the hotel was very quiet.
Or room on the second floor had a very poor radiator (needed bleeding) but we were provided with an electric heater which more than compensated.

Friendly staff, clean room and reasonable breakfast.
Previous nights ash and glasses not collected until nearly midday.

It was convenient when attending a memorial service at a local school, thus saving a punishing return trip in the same day.
The traffic noise, but this will change when the Hindhead tunnel and by- pass is opened later this year.

The room was a bit outdated and it had a weird smell. The bathroom could use some serious cleaning.
